WAVERLY, Ohio (WKRC) - The Pike County Sheriff's Office in Waverly, Ohio says they've recaptured an escaped inmate after finding her in a hot tub at retirement activity center.
Thirty-four-year-old Autum Satterfield escaped Tuesday afternoon while being booked into the county's holding facility. The sheriff's office said she was later found at the Bristol Village Activity Center.
When the sheriff and the interim Waverly police chief arrived at the scene, Satterfield was reportedly sitting in a hot tub and was still wearing the jail's yellow jumpsuit.
The sheriff's office said before she was found, they found Satterfield's shoes near a farm. A helicopter with thermal imaging was brought in to help in the search.
Satterfield was charged with possession of heroin, but she's now also facing a felony escape charge.
